MACRA trains women in ICT

By BiztechAfrica - Sept. 16, 2012, 9:02 a.m.Malawi’s Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) has concluded an ICT training course for women in rural Nkhotakoata.
MACRA’s Director of Finance and Administration, Ben Chitsonga, said MACRA would not rest in its efforts to promote the use of ICTs across the country.
Maureen Kathyanga, the chairperson of the Nkhotakota telecentre, where the training was held, said the course would enable local women to make better use of the services at the centre.
