Luanda hospitals to go digital

By BiztechAfrica - Nov. 20, 2012, 10:03 a.m.Luanda’s hospitals will be equipped with advanced ICTs next year, allowing for teleconferencing and automation, among other benefits.
Angola’s ICT Minister, José Carvalho da Rocha, said these digital hospitals would be connected with each-other to improve communications and collaboration, as well as allowing them to benefit from advances such as teleconferencing for distance surgery.
The upgrades will begin in Luanda, with pilot projects at Cazenga Municipal Hospital and the General Hospital of Luanda.
