Lord Malloch-Brown to open African telecoms forum
Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, the Chairman EMEA of FTI Consulting and former UK Government Minister and UN Deputy Secretary -General , will officially open the leading conference on financing and investment in African telecoms in London on June 17.
The 2nd annual TMT Finance and Investment Africa conference brings together leadership from telecoms, finance, government, investment and the advisory community to debate the latest opportunities and strategies. This year’ s event takes place amidst a surge in financing and investment activity across Africa as telecom operators restructure their businesses to pursue new growth opportunities across the continent.
Lord Malloch-Brown, formerly Minister of State in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the British government with responsibility for Africa, Asia and the United Nations, was recently appointed Chairman EMEA of FTI Consulting, the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organisations protect and enhance their enterprise value.
