Kaseya targets Africa's SMEs

Global IT systems management firm Kaseya says its new free and entry-level cloud-based solutions are generating huge interest across Africa.

The new offerings are designed to deliver enterprise class solutions to SMEs - starting at no cost.

Garth Hayward, Regional Manager of Kaseya Africa, says small and medium enterprises in Africa have long been calling for affordable solutions that allow them to effectively manage their IT systems.

With cloud computing now a viable option for business across Africa, Kaseya's new entry-level IT systems management solutions are delivered via the cloud, making it quick and easy for IT systems managers to deploy and run.

The free solution, Foundation Free, delivers tools needed to manage up to ten endpoints, at no charge. Foundation Free includes tools for remote control and audit.

"But it's no use delivering a solution without support and training," says Hayward. "So we offer online support, training and access to our knowledge base along with the solution."

Scaling up to the next level, Foundation, is simple. Billed at around USD249 a month, Foundation has unlimited end points and additional functionality that a micro enterprise is not likely to need. Following Foundation implementation, a growing enterprise can later scale up to the Essentials and then the Advanced suite.

"We are seeing huge interest in the solutions from across Africa," says Hayward. "For those who wanted to efficiently manage their systems but didn't have the resources - this delivers the tools they need."
