Imagine Cup open to public vote

By BiztechAfrica - July 7, 2012, 11:28 a.m.Members of the public can now vote online for the winners of the People’s Choice Awards in this year’s Microsoft Imagine Cup competition.
Teams from Egypt, Nigeria, Senegal and Uganda are among the 60 teams contesting this part of the competition.
Public voting takes place by viewing videos of each team’s project online, and selecting them as a favourite.
Participating in voting for the People’s Choice Award will determine which team takes home the USD10,000 prize.
Over 60 teams submitted videos and they are packed with innovative ideas that will make the world a better place.
The winning team will be announced on-stage at the Worldwide Finals in Sydney, Australia on 10 July.
