IG Telecom plans cross border Triple Play

By BiztechAfrica - Sept. 6, 2012, 9:03 a.m.Internet Gabon Telecom (IG Telecom) plans to roll out Triple Play services across its border into West Africa.
IG Telecom has signed a USD15 millionTriple Play contract with US-based satellite technology provider Hughes Network Systems, to launch its Triple Net project, which aims to take access to satellite-based internet, TV and radio across Gabon.
The President and CEO of Gabon Telecom Internet, Alain Oumar Ba,said the project would be rolled out later this year, with plans to expand it to Nigeria.
