GTUC wins ICT education award

By BiztechAfrica - Feb. 13, 2012, 9:32 a.m.Ghana Telecom University has been named Africa’s best telecoms university.
The award, presented this weekend, was one of several made to Institutions and educators across Africa for their excellence in ICT education. The Africa-India Partnership Summit Le Matinal Educational Excellence Awards were made to several top African institutions in December.
Other awards included an innovative leadership award to Ghana’s All Nations University College (ANUC) President and Founder Dr. Samuel H. Donkor, the Vice Chancellor of Uganda’s Makerere University, Professor Venansius Baryamureeba, the Vice Chancellor of Uganda’s Busitema University, Professor Mary J N Okwakol and Rwanda’s Kigali health Institute (KHI).
