Ghana’s new Millennium Village Projects to kick off

By BiztechAfrica - Aug. 27, 2012, 11:29 a.m.The Savannah Accelerated Development Authority’s (SADA) Millennium Village Projects are to be officially launched this week.
The projects, in the West Mamprusi District and the Northern and Builsa District in the Upper East Regions, will be completed over five years, with over 11 million pounds in funding from the British Department for International Development (DFID).
The project aims to develop communities and help achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
