Four new 3G licenses in DRC

By BiztechAfrica - July 11, 2012, 3:06 p.m.DRC ICT Minister Tryphon Kin-Kiey Mulumba has officially handed over 3G licenses to four telecoms operators.
The four, Airtel, Africell, Oasis and Vodacom Congo, paid USD15 million each for the rights to offer 3G services in DRC.
Speaking at the ceremony, the operators said 3G would bring with it a new era in communications for people of the region.
