Former Ugandan mayor sues over ringtones

By BiztechAfrica - July 18, 2012, 1:59 p.m.The former mayor of Kampala, Al Haji Nasser Ntege Sebaggala, is challenging MTN over ringtones using his speeches.
The mayor filed a suit in the Kampala Commercial Court, saying the ringtones infringe on copyright.
He is demanding damages and all proceeds collected by MTN through the sale of the ringtones.
