Egypt congratulates Imagine Cup winners

By BiztechAfrica - July 20, 2012, 3:52 p.m.Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Mohamed Salem, has officially congratulated students who excelled at the Microsoft Imagine Cup World finals in Sidney, Australia.
It was the first time Egyptian teams have triumphed in the global event.
Vivid, an Egyptian team from Ain Shams University, won first place in the category ‘Mobile Application Challenges’. In addition, Sherif Talaat, an Egyptian student, won second place in the category ‘Technology Challenge’.
The Egyptian Level Up team of Mansoura University also managed to pass the preliminary phase in the category of ‘Software Design’, and was listed among the best 20 teams worldwide.
