Econet gets 1m EcoCash users

Econet, Zimbabwe’s biggest mobile operator, launched its mobile money service, EcoCash, at the end of September last year.
EcoCash allows users to top up airtime and transfer money. The company announced that it had seen rapid uptake and passed its million subscriber milestone in just months of launching the service.
