DRC operators warned on QoS

By BiztechAfrica - Sept. 5, 2012, 6:33 a.m.Telecoms operators in the DRC have been warned to improve their quality of service by the end of the week.
The Democratic Republic of Congo’s Minister of Communications, Tryphone Kin-Kiey Mulumba, said there had been a decline in the quality of telecommunications in the past six weeks.
He said the local operators, Airtel DRC, Congo-Chine Telecom (Orange), Oasis Telecom (Tigo DRC) and Vodacom Congo, had until 7 September to improve the situation, or they would face sanctions.
