Bsystems wins Best IT Company Award with GVIVE online ID Verification solution

GVIVE is an online ID Verification system that integrates with existing ID database systems for real time ID Verification. The solution which is web based and can be accessed by only authorized users on any device connected to the internet is designed to curb identity theft, manage and avoid fraud with the use of National ID card.
Whiles it offers financial and other institutions the ability to authenticate customers ID cards presented for transactions before offering to transact business with the bearer at the initial point of contact, GVIVE aids in meeting government and industry regulation such as Anti –Money Laundering Act as well as Financial of Terrorism, Know Your Customers (KYC), subscriber Identification Module (SIM) Registration Regulations.
Speaking exclusively to Biztechafrica in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer of Bsystems Thomas Baafi revealed that about one hundred corporate institution both in public and private sectors in the areas of Finance, Insurance and Logistics are currently hooked onto the GVIVE platform.
“Our solution is connected to the Electoral Commission, the Passport Office, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and Drivers and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) database. All the financial and insurance companies in the country can now easily verify the authenticity of any ID card presented for transaction,” he said.
According to Mr. Baafi currently the GVIVE portal is accessible to 254 Rural Banks together with other Saving and Loans Companies and further disclosed that in addition to verifying online, these financial institutions have also been provided with Application Programming Interface (API) aimed at assisting them to onboard customers easily irrespective of their location.
