BUSINESS
By BiztechAfrica - Sept. 24, 2012, 4:41 p.m.Nigeria’s Bank of Industry (BOI), which assists entrepreneurs to start businesses, will step up its support of ICT entrepreneurs.
BOI Managing Director Evelyn Oputu said the bank took seriously every sector that has an impact on the people. ICT was one of these, she said.
Oputu said the bank would not hesitate to create a special desk dedicated to ICT firms as the volume of requests from the ICT sector increased.
She noted that since the ICT industry is very technical, and proposals made to the bank should be very clear and transparent to facilitate their vetting.
