BlackBerry app contest for Mobile Web West Africa

BlackBerry maker RIM is sponsoring an app contest ahead of the Mobile Web West Africa (MWWA) 2012 conference in Lagos.

The winning app developers stand to win free entry to the event’s Mobile App Development Day and BlackBerry handsets, while one lucky developer will also win a trip to the next BlackBerry Developer Conference in Europe in February 2013.

The pre-event app competition is seeking useful BlackBerry applications that attendees at the MWWA event can use.

Mobile Web West Africa will be held at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos on 25 and 26 April. The BlackBerry App Developer Day will be held on 24 April.
