TrustPay™, the in-app payment solution that enables developers to monetise their work through seamless in-app payments, has teamed up with All Amber, the organisers of the Mobile Entertainment Africa 2012 event taking place Cape Town on August 29th & 30th, to support the local application developer community by sponsoring 5 tickets for app developers to attend the conference.
The 5 tickets usually cost €650each and will be distributed via a competition that All Amber is running. Application developers in South Africa are encouraged to apply for one of the tickets by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and providing brief details about their dedication to mobile software development. Applications must be received by close of business on Wednesday 22nd August and winners will be notified on Thursday 23rd August.
One of the founders of TrustPay™, Sean D Conde’, commented on the announcement of the partnership: “This is a great way for us to connect with talented South African application developers and I hope that it contributes to the buzz that is beginning to build around the solution that TrustPay is offering. I’m certain that the 5 winners will benefit a great deal from attending the event.”
Matthew Dawes, Founder of All Amber, added: “From my perspective, partnership agreements such as this are brilliant. The conference benefits as 5 of the brightest app developers in South Africa become involved in the proceedings. The app developers benefit as they are able to attend a business-focused event of the highest calibre at no cost. Finally, TrustPay™(which by the way is in the process of filling a huge void in emerging markets) gets the opportunity to illustrate their commitment to the growth and monetisation for the development community.”
