AccessKenya rolls on to North Coast

AccessKenya is rolling out its metropolitan  fibre optic network toward Kenya’s North Coast as part of its expansion across the country.

The new cables will cover around 20km to connect business, mainly hotels.  AccessKenya’s internet division MD Kris Senanu says the expansion to Mombasa will allow the company to deliver more support and services in the region.

“We view Mombasa as the continent’s gateway and therefore we are keen to develop products that will simplify lives as well as enhance individual and corporate capacities for business, “ he said.

He noted that the company had spent over Ksh100 million in expanding its network since the beginning of this year.
